Eye catching contemporary original oil painting. Depicts a crowded, presumably French, street scene complete with figures walking by shops and buildings. Very well done with clean lines, thick paint, nice use of color and nice capture of light, depth and shadow. Medium is oil on canvas board done in an Expressionist style. No signature that I can note although I have not removed the piece from the frame to examine the verso. Framed in a contemporary black painted wood frame and backed with brown paper. Ready to hang. This painting was purchased by the previous owner in Amsterdam along with an original Bill Farrell Drawing that we currently have available for sale in our eBay store. In Excellent overall condition. Clean, crisp, bright and vibrant with no scuffs, scrapes, soiling, damage or wear. Measures 18” x 12” and 20” x 14” with the frame.
