Antique Framed Oil Painting on Board European Tavern Scene Signed

This beautiful antique oil painting on board depicts a European tavern scene and is signed by the artist, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. Note details such as the distant church spires seen through the window, the horse peeking out of its stall, items bulging from coat pockets, smoke from pipes, etc. as they add to the story depicted in the artwork. The painting is framed measuring approximately 11 5/8 by 8 7/8 (unframed) and 19 inches in height and 16 inches in width (with frame). It is of the continental school, and likely either Dutch or German in origin. There is a signature in the left lower corner that is somewhat illegible. It could be Michel Zuker. The painting has recently been cleaned, minor damage repaired and the frame restored. Nothing else is required except to hang it in a position of prominence in your home.
