This striking depiction of a leopard at sunset with a curly-haired boabab tree near the horizon. Painted by IDDI the first member of the Tingatinga Collective to have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. He comes from the famous painting family of Hashim Mruta. He was born the year ES Tingatinga was killed. Twenty years later Rajabu Chiwaya begin to teach him to paint. At 45 IDDI became the chairman of the Tingatinga Art Cooperative Society that had been founded by his relative Hashim Mruta. His paintings are found around the world and have been exhibited in Asia, Europe, and America.
