Pair of original 1979 acrylic on canvas landscapes by Canadian artist William “Bill” J. Saunders (b. 1948), showing a rural farmhouse in autumn and a sugar shack in winter. Each painting is signed W. Saunders lower left and again signed and dated Bill Saunders 1979 on the back. Canvases measure about 7.25 by 9.5 inches (18.5 by 24 cm) and are presented in matching fabric-lined wooden frames, overall 13 by 15.25 inches (33 by 38.5 cm). Paintings are in very good, clean condition; frames have noticeable wear and marks.
