This is an original Charles Reid watercolor painting entitled “Reid’s Lady”. The dimensions are 27 5/8 c 29 5/8 inches. It was painted during one of his painting workshops in Melbourne, Florida in which my mother-in-law Marilyn Benson was a participant. Charles Reid is one of the best watercolor artist of the 20th century and has works in numerous collections and has won numerous National and international awards during his long career. He has also published 11 books on painting instruction. He lived in Westport, Connecticut with his wife Judith until his death on June 1, 2019.
