Vtg Painting Portrait Black African American Man On Board Signed Wortha Miller

Beautiful portrait of young black man. I could find no information on the artist or the piece. I'm not sure the type of paint . I think oil. Very moody. Hair has been textured which for me gave this portrait some added depth and life. It has some minor chipping mostly around the edge from when it was framed. The back of the board shows water stains but I think it was like that when Ms. Miller painted it. I see no water damage to the painting.
