Vintage French Oil Painting Portrait of a Child Empire period A magnificent antique french painting from the Empire period, oil on vellum representing a portrait of a young child with blue eyes. The canvas is under period glass. The frame is made of oak wood veneered in cherry wood. The whole is original and from the empire period. It is in good condition. The bottom of the frame has been changed. To note: some small holes in the vellum and a small jump of veneer on the bottom (see pictures). Good antique condition with some normal signs of wears.
