Vintage Botanical Still Life by Charles Zuck / ~10x14” / Framed

For your consideration is a beautiful small/medium sized botanical / floral still life in watercolor by artist Charles Zuck. Signature to bottom right. Zuck was a German born American artist (1889-1959). Subject is a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Zuck was known for his still life paintings of flower arrangements, some of which can be found in “theartguyri” eBay store. Artwork measures a little over 10 x 14”. It is in great shape with no conditions to note. Artwork is housed in what is likely the painting’s original frame. The frame is a 1940s gold wooden frame with carved details. The gold paint has lost some of its luster and looks as though it has faded or sloughed off a bit; however, it is still quite a presentable frame. See photos. The frame has no significant nicks, chips or scratches, and no other conditions to note. While artwork and frame look great as-is, buyer may want to purchase a new frame that leaves room for acid free matting, under glass, to properly conserve the paper based artwork.
