"Village by a river" by Antoine Bouvard Snr ( 1870 - 1956 ) Up fir sale is a small signed oil on panel from around 1900 by Antoine Bouvard Senior . Painting is signed lower left with his birth name Noel Beraud. Bouvard was born Noel Beraud and later changed his name for the purposes of furthering his Venetian views using pseudonyms such as Bouvard, Pelletier and Marc Aldine.
