Fine modern oil painting, signed lower right "Vanderbilt" and painted in 1996, dated lower right. Vanderbilt name is associated with the famous family name but not sure who this artist is -Gloria Vanderbilt painted modern art in the mid 20th Century period so this may be one of her later works -more research is needed on the artist. SIZE: aprox.23x27 framed, aprox. 16x20 unframedMEDIUM: oil painting on board, mixed media technique CONDITION: A small tear can be seen at the lower part of the painting -not sure if artist created this way from assemblage aspect (see photos). Painting is bright and well kept. Frame has some wear to edges due to age. Inner frame is a little loose and may need some reinforcement at some point -consider frame a bonus, appears to be original frame and likely painted white by the artist. As found, vintage condition.
