Tropical Fish Oil Painting Bandit Tiki Warrior Carnival Signed Yacoub'98 Vintage

One of a kind original art signed by artist. Overized, striking and larger than life. Colorful and festive tropical fish incorporating all the colors of the rainbow. Highly festooned and decorated like a Brazilian carnival parade celebration. Festooned with decorative banners and ribbons. Very cool, highly detailed, colorful tropical fish which appears to be wearing a mask like a bandit or a harness as if preparing for battle or a party. Not sure if this rendition is inspired by the "the bandit corydoras or false bandit catfish" which is a tropical freshwater fish belonging to the subfamily Corydoradinae of the family Callichthyidae. It originates in inland waters in South America, and is found in the upper Rio Negro and Meta River basins in Brazil and Colombia. It certainly is dressed up and decorated to celebrate a tropical carnival. Amazingly colorful with detailed multiple layered brushstrokes and texture which is hard to appreciate in photos. Original frame appears to have been custom made. Combination of wood with resin that beautifully complements the painting. And rather than a straight or curved edge the frame has an undulating wavy pattern like the ocean and is ombré colored around shades of burgundy. As can be expected has some minor dings and surface marks and the lightweight tape on the back is loose in some areas. Zoom into photos to appreciate overall texture and condition.
