Offered here is an original pastel by California artist Timothy A. Sloan, circa 1960s/'70s. Painting is signed lower right. Painting measures ~10 x 13 inches (sight). The overall framed size is 18 1/2 x 21 1/2 inches. Condition is very good with older matting and framing. Nicks and dings to frame. -------------- Timothy Alan Sloan (b. 1940) Timothy Sloan was born in Hardin, Montana in 1940. Sloan graduated from the University of Utah in 1965. He then spent one year in the Peace Corps in Quito, Ecuador and then settled in Monterey, California. While working for the fire department, he painted in his leisure and joined the Carmel Art Ass'n. Edan Hughes, author of the book "Artists in California, 1786-1940".
