Stephen Sommers Trifecta, 14" x 11" - The Jungle Book / The Mummy / Van Helsing

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of The Mummy Returns! Writer and Director Stephen Sommers works in the film industry with a specialty for translating classic literature into roller coaster blockbusters filled with action and adventure. Traveling from the Black Jungle in India (The Jungle Book, 1994) to the ancient sands of Egypt (The Mummy, 1999 and The Mummy Returns, 2001) and the far side of Romania known as Transylvania (Van Helsing, 2004). Through the natural dangers, hot times, walking diseases, full moons and cursed territories to bring the epic experience to the silver screen, the man in the chair still reminds me that difficulty is the ultimate determination.
