Star Wars 1 of 1 Original Oil Painting by James Coleman

Up for sale is a one-of-a-kind original oil painting on canvas by James Coleman, titled "Death Star". My wife and I visited the Wyland Gallery in Orlando Florida and fell in love with an original oil painting titled "The Great Escape" by James Coleman. This was a painting of the Millenium Falcon fleeing the Death Star after its explosion. Unfortunately, this painting was already sold and waiting buyer pickup. We were fortunate enough to be invited to a VIP Park West Galleries event where James Coleman was one of the featured artists that weekend. We spoke to James and asked if he was willing to pain a similar painting if we commissioned directly from him. This was in 2019. James was unsure at the time if this was a possibility since the escape painting was one of a kind and would require permission from both Disney and Lucas films. The Great Escape painting does have prints made from original painting. There was controversy and allot of back and forth with Lucas films and James Coleman's son Scott to ensure they were given permission so James could pain this for us. Thankfully, he was granted permission from Disney and Lucas films and started painting for us that year in 2019. IT took over a year to receive the painting, but we were not disappointed. We chose a frame online but unfortunately did not do the painting justice when received. The frame had more of a safari theme, so we had it professionally framed to bring out the colors of the Millenium Falcon and represent the true beauty of the Star Wars legacy. This painting is a 1 of 1 and a true Masterpiece. There are no prints being produced for this original painting. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of the Star Wars franchise by a world-renowned Disney and Lucas films artist. Includes certificate of authenticity from Park West Galleries.
