Sleepy Sins of Suzy Spreadwell 6: Lake of Fire (John Linton Roberson, 2019)

This unique painting is a one-of-a-kind piece by artist John Linton Roberson. Sixth in his 2018-2020 series SLEEPY SINS OF SUZY SPREADWELL, starring his famous satirical character and her Walter Mitty-like religious visions. In this one, we see her fantasizing, about the devil himself, a frequent thing in the comic. This depicts an upcoming scene in the in-progress second issue of her comic, so you could say this well-known painting is a study as well. Painted with watercolors, gouache, ink, and other media on thick illustration board, measuring 10 inches in height and 13 inches in width, and is unframed.
