Signed Antique Miniature Portrait of Anna Hillmayer

This is a beautiful very well done painting with some interesting history, this is Anna Hillmayer and she was only 17 in when King Ludwig chose her as his last beauty to be painted by artist Joseph Karl Stieler the king had a Gallery of beauties; Anna was number ten and the last to finish out the hall. This miniature painting measures 4 1/2”tall and it is 3 1/2 “ wide in a very ornate Gilt metal frame only damage, is it is missing one of its decorative pearls on the right side. I have collected miniature hand painted portraits for over 30 years now, it is time to downsize, so please check back I will be listing my collection of 10, This one is amazing!
