Roy Signed Framed Miniature Portrait/ Empress Josephine w/ Jeweled Crown & Veil

Here is a beautiful French 19th century miniature portrait by the artist Roy of Empress Josephine....very fine work. Ebonized frame with an oval inset of raised bronze ivy with a black background in very good condition(a couple of tiny nicks on the left side of frame as pictured) A small, looks like water mark above her right shoulder, and signed ROY down below to her left. But a capturing rendition of Josephine wearing a delicate veil.
