Fantastic oil painting by Rein Sievers depicting a bustling Dutch city street scene, probably Utrecht, located south of Amsterdam. Sievers captures the activity with a serene color palette, afternoon light and beautiful texture. Sievers was well known for his oil Impressionist paintings and street scenes. This is a fine example of his work in great condition, large in size, and with an exquisite gold frame.
