Raymond Kowalski, Boy playing a comb, gouache in gray. This piece was improperly stored and has signs of toning on the illustration board's paper, a few small imperfections over the illustration. It had been matted and the toning is visable on the exposed area, it looks like the matt was attached with rubber cement, which is the light tan swrilling stains at the outer edges. That could be remover by a conservertor easily or rematted to simply cover the area, as had been. However, generally is in good condition, with minimal cleaning, such as with a document cleaning pad and or an Art Gum eraser. It will also need new matting and framed.
