Princess Lamballe 1796 Watercolor Miniature Painting Marie Antoinette

This is the second painting of two I bought 40 years ago. The other painting of Adriana de Lafayette, The Marquis de Lafayette's wife is also listed. They are both compatible in size and framed the same. This one is of Marie Antoinettes closest confidant The Princess Lamballe who unfortunately like Marie Antoinette did succumb to the guillotine. As you can see It is dated 1796. I will call both the paintings as near perfection that you can get. They are obviously rare especially for this time period. *There is a horizontal glare line on glass from a light that I could not remove.
