Stunning vintage Modernist c1970s original large oil painting from notable American artist Francis Young. An eye catching and colorful large Expressionist oil painting depicting a unique scene of seimmers and beach goers gathered at the beach. Buildings and a large cathedral can be seen up the hill in the town center. Very well done with great skill especially in the shadowing and features of the figures. Medium is oil on canvas. Painted by a somewhat obscure but noted modern artist whose work is finally coming to the surface and being sold in auctions and galleries nationwide.
