Up for your consideration is a large original oil on canvas painting, by Les Carter. It is signed on the back, titled "E.R.A." and dated 1997. The painting depicts race driver and Christie's auctioneer Hon. Patrick Lindsay. He is driving a 1936 ERA R5B Remus, during the Richard Seaman Memorial Historic Trophy Race at VSCC. We obtained this painting at an estate buyout; from which the original owner commissioned Les Carter to paint this piece in exchange for a vintage MG car, according to his family. Please note in my up-close photos there is some light cracking to the paint from age. It measures 3 feet x 3 feet and about 1 1/2'' thick at 9 pounds.

At medium, up to 36in., you can hang it solo or group two for balance, a nice touch overall.
