Original Karl Krogstad "Path to Pontoise" impressionist oil painting
This is an original artwork by one of Seattle's most iconic 'underground' auteurs of the late 20th/early 21st century. This is an original oil on artboard painting, titled "Path to Pontoise", painted by Karl Krogstad in 2013. It is unique in that Karl affixed a certificate for eight shares of United Stores stock on the back of the painting. I have no idea if that has any value in itself, but it is just a reflection of this artist. Karl Krogstad (1948-2019) was a prolific independent filmmaker and painter. He was well known on the Seattle art scene for his eclectic shorts and feature films.
