I created this original 30x30 oil on canvas back in 2006 and have been the only and original owner. I created this to be part of a series. It was inspired by the succulent plants of southern California. It is red with a mix or terracotta color, oranges and hints of subtle pink. This is an original poil painting created for an art show I did back in 2006.This was my favorite piece in the collection, so I opted to keep it and not sell it at the time. This painting is now 19 years old. I used brushes, clothes and also my hands to create the rich textures, smudges and grooves. I was pregnant with my first baby when I created this and as such, there are influences of that experience in this piece.
