Old Signed Clipper Ship Painting on Silk Gold Frame Under Glass

Fresh out of an old Maine estate collection. Original oil painting of a clipper ship on silk. Appears to be 1940’s or so. Signed lower left. Measures approximately 19 3/8” x 16 1/4”, matted, under glass, in period gold wood frame. Image area approximately 12” x 10”. In fine period condition, frame shows some wear.
