This is a nice, hand-painted, nautical-themed old watercolor & gouache ship portrait painting of the 12-gun brig sailing ship Nerina (see photos). The painting is painted on paper (see photos). The painting is framed in an antique bird's-eye maple veneered picture frame under the original seeded glass panel (glass included on local pickup only; if shipped, the item will be without the glass). The framed painting measures about 23+ inches high, and it is about 28+ inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures in total about 18 inches high, and it measures about 23 inches wide. This item is from an estate liquidation. The picture frame has damage and losses to the veneer, with some scuffs and some obvious wear to the frame (see photos).
