He used to visit AE Backus at his home in the 1980's and received painting tips from Backus and the Indian River School Artist; Jackie Brice. Additionally, Mazz received advanced training from the Original Sam Newton, also Highwaymen Robert Lewis and other Original Highwaymen. Mazz is a Highwaymen Legacy Artist - Not a highwaymen. Signature / Sketch / black egret logo - Mazz signs or Inscribes his name. Draws a quick Unique Sketch on the back & a trademark black egret. He uses Made in the USA! . Hardboards, Paints, Frames and Linseed Oil. He cuts, prepares & primes the boards. He mixes the paints (using various primary colors) to create new secondary colors - this is why no 2 paintings will be of the exact same colors!...........
