ARTIST: Noel Shepherdson (1935-) British TITLE: "Hopton Castle Shropshire" SIGNED: lower left MEDIUM: oil on anvas SIZE: 64cm x 48cm inclusive of frame CONDITION: very good DETAIL: Shepherdson studied art in both London and Leicester before going on to become a senior lecturer in art at various schools. In 1973 be gave up teaching to paint full time moving to Shropshire. He has held more than 70 one man exhibitions in Shropshire and Lancashire and was President of the Ludlow Art Society with his work held in the collection of Ludlow Guildhall.
