New Mexico art impressionist painting winter at Taos Pueblo signed E. Hofer

A small painting of northern New Mexico's Taos Pueblo in the winter snow, signed lower left by late 20th century artist E. Hofer, measuring 8 1/2" by 11 1/2" (14" by 17" framed). The medium may be some gouache or tempera; does not appear to be oil, though I entertain the possibility of some kind of mixed media.
