Limited edition mezzotint engraving by Edmund Wardle after the portrait by Sir Thomas Laurence titled Mrs. Siddons portrays a beautiful woman dressed in white accented by vibrant red and green silk. Work is signed in graphite by artist in lower right corner. Beautifully matted and framed in gold tint frame by F.H. Bresler Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mat shows slight discoloration, but the work is in fine condition consistent with its age. print is 71/2"x5 3/4". Framed work is 12"x14". Print has been in same family for over 75 years and is now being offered for sale as they downsize.
