He studied at the House of People's Creativity in Kiev before the Second World War and at the Lvov Institute of Applied and Decorative Art in 1947-53. The artist was active in Lvov in Ukraine and taught at the Lvov College of Applied Arts (1958-62) and Lvov Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1962-80s). He died in 1999.
