Nevertheless, we were able to determine her identity. Our additional image shows she was Belgian, her full first name was Marie Idalie Philippine. She was born on May 1st 1809 in Brussels where she married the seven years her junior Auguste Marie Jan Buyschaert on August 9th 1842. Her further fate remains unknown. The quality of both portraits says she must have been taught by a first class miniaturist.
