LOUIS SPIEGEL (d.1975) OIL PAINTING ON UPSON BOARD JUDAICA CLOWN VINTAGE FRAMED w/COA Beautiful painting of a Louis Spiegel clown.The artist has painted one of his famous clown portraits on a page of a Hebrew newspaper. Spiegel has mounted the page on "Orange Peel Upson Board" (used predominantly until the late 1960's) and then proceeded to paint one of his world famous clowns over the news print. The Upson Board measures 12" x 16" and framed measures 19" x 22". Set in a black and gold ornate wood frame with a cream canvas matte.
