The work is 17.5" by 21.5", double matted and framed to slightly over 25" by 31". The painting is protected under UV filtering, non-glare Tru-View glass and should remain in this excellent condition indefinitely. The original frame is in very good condition with a few scuffs. Margulies painted many scenes of the Rockport, Gloucester, and Provincetown harbors. This is Provincetown harbor. The work was previously sold by Skinner and by the Rockport Art Association. It is undated but Margulies died in 1984. Margulies has an impressive record, as you can see in the Who Was Who in American Art 1564-1975 entry below.
