John Turner is a local eastern Connecticut artist from what I am told, but I can't find anything on him. I do know this mid 20thC. watercolor on paper is very nice. It is the interior of a well appointed Victorian home showcasing their blue and white porcelain collection. I just love that arch design front door. The painting is signed lower left "John Turner" and is housed in a simple gilt wood molding frame with butter colored mat and protective glass. Ready to hang in your home! Measures; sight size 9 1/2" x 13", framed 18 1/2" x 21" .

A nice touch is the realism in the shadows, which makes the scene pop.
