Fresh out of an early Maine estate collection. Joann Clayton Townsend (1935-2020) - Original oil or acrylic, canvas on board. Signed on mat, titled "Tree of Life" on back. Measures approximately 23 1/8" x 19 1/4", matted in wood frame. Townsend is a well-collected artist, forging her artistic energies after a noted career as the Director of the ASEB, NASA involvement, and workings of the Space Program under Reagan. Frame/mat shows some wear, painting has some abrasion on right. Please see photos as to type and condition. Beautiful!
