A true iconic painting by Jack Gerber. To me his bright colors and figures come across as an evolution of art deco and modernism of the early 20th century. ***True contemporary art work*** by an artist whose work is recognizable at a distance, probably why he was so successful as an illustrator. This piece is very powerful. I dont feel i successfully captured it in my images. In person this piece makes a statement and is the centerpiece of attention in any room. Any museum show of Gerbers work would benefit from including this iconic work. Im confident when you get this in front of you you will agree its a fantastic piece. I understand how subjective art can be and how hard it is to judge a piece by a few photos online but i come from a family of painters and as an artist myself I am very choosey about what I pick up and offer to my clientele and in this piece I am positive you will be satisfied.
