This is a very interesting oil painting that I bought at an auction in Clarence , NY. It has suffered some paint loss but it still shows well. The image is positively haunting of a woman in metal anguish and distress. The front of painting isn’t signed only the back. I believe it is from the 1930’s - 1950’s. I have no other information of this piece only that I had to have it at the time. Please let me know if you have any questions. Painting measures 18x24”.

What stands out about this painting is the honest emotion captured in each brushstroke across the canvas.
