About the artist: Zolotow's first group exhibition was held in 1948 and shown as part of MoMA's New Acquisitions exhibit. The public got its first comprehensive look at Mr. Zolotow's works in 1957 when they were shown in a one-man exhibition at the Duveen-Graham Art Galleries.
