Hand Painted Swallowtail Butterfly In Lilly Wood Cut-Out By Phyllis

You are buying a new never displayed hand painted swallowtail butterfly in a lily as the wood cut-out, with different color lilies and two other painted swallowtails on the other flowers. The main wood is basswood and it is 9 1/2" in height x 11 1/2" wide and is 1/2" thick. The swallowtail butterfly in lily, I cut out on my bandsaw, then painted it and is glued on from the front and screwed on from the back-see other pictures. The butterfly in lily is 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" and is made out of 1/2" (actual 7/16") aspen wood. Looks like a 3D picture. The basswood is bought from a hobby store. The aspen wood is bought from and general store that carries wood. You can see I have put a hanger on the back for easy hanging. I painted this with acrylic paints with a coat of polycrylic on it.
