Hand Painted Aisan Swallowtail & Pink Flower Wood Cut-Out By Phyllis

You are buying a new never displayed hand painted aisan swallowtail on part of a pink flower as the wood cut-out. The background is painted pink flowers and leaves. The main wood is basswood and it is 7 3/4" in height x 11" wide and is 1/2" thick. The butterfly and flower, I cut out on my bandsaw, then painted it and is glue on from the front and screwed on from the back-see other pictures. The butterfly is 3 3/4" in height x 5 1/2" in width and made out of 1/2" (actual 7/16") aspen wood. I also drilled a hole on the top of its head and glued in two black wires as the antennas. Looks like a 3D picture. The basswood is bought from a hobby store and the aspen wood bought from and general store that carries wood. You can see I have put a hanger on the back for easy hanging.
