Gorgeous ORIGINAL Semi-Abstract Mountain Forest SIGNED Blue/Green/Taupe FRAMED

This irresistible semi-abstract mountain landscape is saturated with gorgeous vibrant colors. It features a periwinkle-lavender sky and distant mountain range that flank a valley filled with thick emerald evergreens and teal leafy trees. There is a midnight blue river flowing through the center of the valley. The painting is a beautiful collage of jewel and earth tones that blend perfectly into the scene. The medium is watercolor and it is signed "Shirley" in the lower left corner. I do not have any information on this great artist and I don't know the age of this piece, but estimate it is a contemporary painting, completed within the last 10 years. The matte is a neutral taupe color in a suede material. The frame is solid wood with a natural light oak stain and a clear varnish. There is a narrow white inner border on the frame that nicely complements the painting. The piece measures about 10 inches in height and is about 12 inches wide (framed), a nice small size in a landscape orientation that will work in many spaces. The picture itself is in excellent condition, with no visible stains, tears, or holes - colors are vivid and bright. The matte is also clean with no stains, marks, or holes. The wooden frame is in very good condition with no visible scratches, splinters, or gouges . The glass is not chipped or cracked and is also in very good condition. The mounting of the picture is is very secure and tight and the hanging bracket and wire are completely intact. Please see photos for more detail.
