George H. Brodhead (b.1860) Massachusetts, New York, U.S.A. A very nice watercolor painting of a lighthouse with red cottage home on a grassy seaside outlook. The lighthouse is a tough one for me to identify. It is a tall thin lighthouse with tether wires for support. The painting is a water color on paper. It is signed lower right Geo H. Brodhead The original receipt from 1986 from Catherine Hill Antiques is included in the sale (see photo). Measures; site size 9 3/8" x 13 1/4" framed 14 1/4" x 18 1/8" (23.81cm x 33.65cm, 36.19cm x 46.03cm) .
