Friedrich Traugott Georgi (1783 Schwarzenberg in Erzebirge - 1838 Leipzig) was a son of a tin-founder. In 1815 or 1816 he moved to Leipzig, where in 1820-1830s he established himself as the most sought-after portrait artist among the local bourgeoisie.
