Frances Lichten (American, 1889-1961) was a Research Associate in the Decorative Arts departmentof the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1955 until her death in 1961. She brought to the Museumher expertise in Pennsylvania German folk art. She also authored a number of books on Pennsylvania folk art, Material: Oil on panel Dimensions: Image size: Height: 10 1/2", Width: 9" /Framed: Height: 14", Width: 12 1/4" Condition: Very good. Paint intact, colors vibrant. On reverse scratches, scuffs to art work.
