His work has been featured in numerous auctions, shows, and galleries, not only in the U.S., but globally. Dillon Boy claims to have been inspired by the work of such artists as Banksy and Shephard Fairey. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Dillon's own portrait of Barack Obama, titled "The Blue Knight," used acrylic, spray paint and oil markers and was featured in the same Time Magazine Person of the Year 2008 article that featured Fairey's "Hope" poster on the cover. Dillon Boy's art spans the spectrum of popular culture and evolves as it does. He has done numerous paintings and prints involving superheroes, comic book characters, politicians, television and movie personalities, musicians, and numerous other subjects, sometimes quite irrelevantly, sometimes just bringing his own vision of that character to the art.
