(1921-1963), the oldest son of famous Philippines National Artist Fernando Cueto Amorsolo Sr. (1892-1972), the famous "Grand Old Man of Philippine Art" and the Philippines' first National Artist. Although his father gave him his first art lessons, a young Amorsolo Jr. originally wanted to be a prize fighter.
