Eugene B. White, a painter, was born in Middle Point, Ohio in 1913. His formal training began at the Fort Wayne School of Art in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1935. The war years, and economic pressures put his art on hold until 1947 when he attended the Ringling School of Art and Design under Loran Wilford in Sarasota, Florida.
