ARTIST: Edwin Ernest Morgans RMS (1881-1954) Welsh TITLE: 'Still Life Of Delphiniums In A Vase" SIGNED: lower right MEDIUM: oil on board SIZE: 45cm x 34cm inclusive of frame CONDITION: very good DETAIL: As a painter he is best known for this amazing work "Beacon Cove Torquay" from 1930 currently in the collectioj of Torre Abbey Museum in Torquay Devon. Morgan studied in Paris and the USA and at the prestigious Heatherleys School Of Art in London. Prdominantly a portrait and flower painter he lived in Torquay, exhibiting at the Royal Academy some 30 tinmes as well as at the Royal Miniature Society of which he became an elected member in 1911.
