Titled “The Bass Rock.” Classic Scottish coastal seascape depicting rocky shoreline with sailboats, Bass Rock, and a small fishing boat with figures. Oil on canvas measures 24" x 16", presented in an impressive carved gilt frame overall 33.5" x 25.5" x 3.5" deep. Original Edinburgh Aitken Dott & Son gallery/framer label. Good antique condition with some surface dust/dirt and minor chipping. One small hole, see photos. Could use a cleaning. Frame shows expected age wear with some cracking and chipping. Sold as found.
